Another brave soul makes a gesture of five fingers during a protest in Haiti's capital on May 4, 2005. The gesture symbolizes the five years Aristide was given as his mandate following his re-election in Nov. 2000. Aristide was overthrown in a coup backed by the U.S., France and Canada on Feb. 29, 2004. The U.N. took over the mission of consolidating the coup and keeping the current U.S.-installed regime in power.
