UN accommodates human rights abuses by police in Haiti

After the U.N. stops allowing the demonstration to continue without security down Rue Pan-Americain, the PNH suddenly appears with M-14 and M-16 military weapons and points them towards the crowd. Without the presence of a few press cameras and journalists to dissuade them, it is clear the police would have opened fired on the crowd.
